‘A Little Help’ Program

Sometimes A Little Help for pets is all that is needed

We know that difficulties are a part of life, but we also know that, too often, especially when financial situations arise, the family pet is the first to feel the effects. Some owners have the best intentions and feed what little can be afforded, resulting in pets not getting enough food, while other owners see getting rid of their beloved pets as the best way to help with the hardship and to give their pet “a chance,” not knowing that owner-surrendered pets are the first animals to be killed in shelters.

We believe families need their pets in difficult times, as much as their pets need them.

Our program is designed to help families who love and care for their pet, but are in a tough situation of being able to adequately provide for them, by suppling food for their companion animals. This gives families one less thing to worry about, helps to ensure pets stay in the home where they belong, and ultimately reduces the number of family pets entering already over-crowded shelters.

Each is a case-by-case basis and solely to help pets while their people focus on getting back on their feet. It enables us to see the animals, possibly provide needed vaccinations, address any medical issues, together with spay and neuter options.
